Trey Selman, RV Safety & Education Foundation, Executive Director (RVSEF - RVSafety.com)  - Trey Selman and his wife, Susan have been instructors with RVSEF for the past 7 years and are starting their tenth year living full time in an RV.  RVSEF specializes in providing object clear Technical and Lifestyle Education for the RV owner. The purpose of RVSEF is to help RV owners better understand their RVs so that they may safely get the full enjoyment from their RV travels.

12:00PM  - RV Weight and Tire Safety  

 

Trey Selman from the RV Safety & Education Foundation will provide attendees with the knowledge required to assure that their RV is operated within the weight safety limitations established by the manufacturer, as well as the importance of the information found on vehicle weight labels. The information in this class is designed to assist owners in understanding and managing their existing weight. The tire portion of the seminar relates to maintenance and care of tires for optimum safety and durability.

Gain a better understanding of the language, concepts and standards used by truck and trailer manufacturers.  Learn about truck and trailer ratings. For the safest possible travel and RV enjoyment it is important to properly match a truck and trailer while staying within vehicle ratings.

There are many campground locators, weather apps for safety, fuel cost, locating cool places to eat and things to see and do. We will look at some of these great tools to help you enjoy your RV Travel planning.

Gain a better understanding of the language, concepts and standards used by truck and trailer manufacturers.  Learn about truck and trailer ratings. For the safest possible travel and RV enjoyment it is important to properly match a truck and trailer while staying within vehicle ratings.

 

1:00PM - Personal Safety  

 

The RV Lifestyle is known to be a very safe environment. Personal safety is much more than potential crime. Personal safety encompasses health concerns, weather conditions, driving, emergency roadside procedures, and other travel and recreation concerns. Awareness is a primary safeguard when it comes to safety. Trey Selman from the RV Safety & Education Foundation will review and discuss some of the basics to mitigate risk and prepare for various circumstances that are part of the challenges of life.

Mechanical, electrical, fresh water and waste water systems that are on our RV. To keep your RV safe and operating properly, there are some important maintenance items we need to check each time we travel and some we need to check yearly.

Full-Timing is an exciting adventure. There are a number of things to consider and ponder. Trey Selman from the RV Safety & Education Foundation along with his wife Susan, have been living full-time in the RV for the past 9 years and will share some of the considerations to face when transitioning and preparing to spending longer periods of time in the RV.
